Flipping the clock
up on its head;
screaming go away
no not again.
I am denying time
its right to pass,
always wishing for
the year to last.
But then I wonder
perhaps tomorrow
will bring the best,
a shoulder I dream of,
a heart to let me rest.
It’s true of course,
we never know in fact
what future will bring.
And making plans
scares me that future
will follow an alternate
path. So maybe it’s better
to stop the clock;
to let the dream
never end. Than to
put a dream into
practice…and watch
it take its last breath.

Well done, m'lady! Sure we have all felt that way. Will again! You have done a great job of putting it into words. Excuse me, I have to
go turn back some clocks. <3 'Pea' <3
oh no Sara! How can you not be curious enough to want to see that next minute if something You've always wanted or dreamed of may come your way! don't get jaded by the mundane,live!;-)Great evoking poem!
Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about.
You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached.
Deciding what is the core of belief.
This book presents a narrative story of one person's journey of transcendental Awakening and Enlightenment as guided by his two Sage companions. It is grounded in Zen Buddhist and Taoist perspective and uses the I Ching as its structural framework. T
