Last Will of Henry J. Thomas

Henry grew up poor in the blue ridge mountains of West Virginia
Son of a coal mine digger who got black lung and died when he was 4
Mother raised him on bread and change she earned at the factory
Had torn shoes at the young age of thirteen
Henry left mom for the United States Army at the age of nineteen
Did real well, best shot in the class of 1963
Went to Vietnam and joined the jungle of chaos
But did return with a purple heart attached to his vest
Decided to go into computers in the seventies from a tip from a Nam buddy
Worked at a little known company who made tiny chips for big machines
Had lots of stock, and worked real hard out in the valley
Became V.P. in the mid-1980s
Poor, poor henry with the old torn shoes
Soon found himself with a fortune at the age of 42
Retired in his fifties, and went back to West Virginia
To bury his mom in the best, best casket this side of town
Moved to a small place somewhere in the pacific
Someplace called Tuvalu, and bought lots of land
Died with a billion, and a billion more stuffed in the bank,
And Henry J. Thomas left the rest to the children he never had…
