If only heavens are to smile

As it mingle with the sea

Its clouds outlaid for miles

To prop angelic feet

And songs bide in the rhythm

Of its tempered melodies

While wings are solely given

To the haughty birds and bees

If by mere inanity

One sees a ray of light

Diffuse the murk of street

Like a lantern in the night

If Utopia could but exist

In a class far so elite

Then it had taken this

To limiting my speech

For I know not how else

To sing this song of love

If words can’t coalesce

With these and One above

O’ teach me of revealing

With finer culture, more superb

And I will leak the feelings

This world has never heard.
