Love
Cannot be
Nailed by the hammer
Wounded by the thorn
Burned by the sun
Blown by the wind
Drowned by the river
Destroyed by the bomb
For
Love is
Domicile of the hearts
Sanctuary of the trust
Bond that binds the hope of all,
And like the Sun, love is ever above
Shedding its radiance to all alike
In this terrain of eternal delight
But
Love can be
Nailed by distrust
Wounded by words
Burned by lust
Blown by materialism
Drowned by calamity
Destroyed by revulsion
For
Love is
A lie that looks true
A mirage over the desert
A dream within a dream
A small hole in the boat
A fiction that never ends
A fantasy that comes to go
Ok I have a question.....
This poem is very beautiful let me first say
but
the picture, I am so CURIOUS...what made you pick that one....To show love transcends differences, or was there a subtle mockery in the choice?? You have me totally lost here!
lol thanks for your indulgence (in advance)

Bhuwan...you have captured the essention truth of love, it tetters on a nanith line between the most exquisite and the most heartwrenching experience of human life. Well done.
this write is good and it is truthful, however life can be compared to the same analogy. We do the best we can with both, at time winning and at times loosing. take car my friend
I love this so true of romantic love. Very well done, and yes I wish I had thought of that "fantasy that comes to go". Well said.

Bhuwan...and love is not always known when we see it. I have been fooled many times, for I am a fool in love many times. Loved your poem and always do. Bill

“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to
