Is prostitution an immoral act, the selling of a human flesh?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Poem Artwork

They come to us, to soothe the fire
Burning inside their heart, lured by
Our flesh, that even makes the dumb
Man talk and a deaf man hear, the
Language of lust, which rules the inner
Consciousness of every mortal’s heart
But they detach us, after sucking the
Juices out of our life, like the sugar
cane stick and throw us in the garbage
And call us a ‘whore’, when they see
Us in their road tomorrow, yes, they
Hide from us, like the silly ostrich
Hiding its head in the desert sand
With false decorum of noble honor
Branded in the wobbly heart of theirs
But when the fire burns in their heart
They again come to us and soothe
Their thirst by playing with our flesh
And these sequences of hide and seek
Goes on and on, continuously forever
Since prostitution is the second oldest
Profession in the Earth, and instead of
Diminishing, prostitution is blooming
In every part of this fashionable world
And if it is an immoral act, the selling of
A human flesh, why are the human
Buying the humans flesh with no remorse

deep thoughts...i've questioned myself...sharing of flesh in form of barter...perhaps more than lust it is a need for human contact to someone lonely...perhaps an opportunity to pay for food or shelter...and many more tales....

Bhuwan, very thought provoking. Lust is part of humanity and the human male thinks with the wrong head.

Because they can? You capture age-old thoughts well, Bhuwan. Maybe to delve into that mooted human flesh, gives a sense of power unlike any other in our constricted world, a release, for a moment of time, of earth-bound bland tedium...a soaring into pure feeling. I love how you put yourself into their shoes. :)

Poignant write and points well taken. I often wondered why only the woman caught in adultery and brought before Christ was to be stoned, the man was nowhere in sight!

Good Morning, Bhuwan
Quite an intersting write here. As a younger man I USED quite a few. These girls no matter how immoral it is, are really people in need.
Young Man are fools like I was. There hormones need to dance. Great Write!!!
