The more you think of tragedy The more it hunts your veracity For like the fire, it spreads rapidly Shrouding the heart with dire obesity And burning the little hope, left within You, in the oven of love’s infidelity Besmirched by your malicious destiny That keeps no calendar but still impedes Your routine, by its uncertainty’s grip Since tragedy is as natural as love And only, when you think less of tragedy The less it hunts your veracity, but if you Conquer the hurdle of the tragedy Beyond then, you will gulp the air of ecstasy Copyright 2003 Bhuwan Thapaliya
