All have a bit of goodness in them.

As I sat on Daddy's knee,
he whispered ... jubilantly,
"Look for the silver lining ...
everything's made by His hand.
There is evil all around
but there's good in all you see
'cause earth is God's special land."
Daddy left but, still, I see
there is goodness around me.
There is a silver lining
put in all by God's own hand.
War and hate are evil--
pits folks against each other--
destroys love, life ... understand?
As long as my life lingers,
I will search for the flickers
of God's soul, silver lining
that transcends eternity.
It's a spark of faith and hope
that allows mankind to cope ...
goodness is infinity.
When I, again, see Daddy,
we'll whisper jubilantly,
"Looked for the silver lining ...
everything's made by His hand.
Now in heaven we are bound
and it's good to see you found
the silver lining … God's hand."
When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more.
