Most people hoard love but, the truth is, the more we love other, the more love we receive.

Please Love Me
Sandra S. Corona

As if I were yours fore’er, please love me.
A prodigal child,
I leave some folks riled.
It would be sad to receive just pity---
all need another
to this life weather.

If I promise never to leave your side,
will you hold me tight,
let me spend the night?
I choose to believe, in Christ abide,
from some folks I hide
ev’ryone else lied.

Daddy said he would live, never leave me.
He died; I was five.
Dad boxed; wouldn’t ‘dive’.
Men are always ‘in’ and ‘out’ of my life,
He, alone, has stayed
like I’ve begged Him, prayed.

As if I were yours fore’er, please love me.
It matters so much,
you hug me, I blush.
Unconditional love—not sympathy—
is yours completely …
when we love tenderly.

great lines

Someone described love like this recently:

"Love has a different tune: I love you, therefore you are free to do as you wish. My love says you cannot do any wrong in my sight. My love says you cannot hurt me for it would not wish to make you responsible for the way I feel. My love says I am here for you if you want me, or I can be gone if that is what you wish. My love does not depend on your performance to exist - it depends entirely on a choice I make, moment by moment. My love accepts that you may even come to hate me for what I am and it is strong enough not to compromise itself to please you. My love cannot be manipulated. My capacity to love is infinite and is not bound by your feelings or desires."

Thank you for sharing your sentiments, Sandy. Love and peace,

Regis
