God isn’t playing a game!
He responds to ev’ry call.
There are rules we should follow—
not a one’s hard to swallow,
easily … life’s one big ball.

In a rush to save a soul, God’s driving an ambulance;
souls in quandary, He makes whole.

Some folks plainly won’t listen;
it seems they’re the first to cry:
“Life’s the pits! Can’t get ahead!”
Did they say prayers before bed?
Do they practice ‘getting by’?

This body will pass, decay,
but spirits thrive for’er.
We should practice what we preach,
by our examples, live, teach.
It’s a wonder God still cares.
