Imagine being the last member of your tribe alive, a child without an adult to guide them. ***********

Bridges Burnt Bridges burnt, I must carry on ... there's no turning back only what's forward. Yesterday's foolishness subsides-- left me on my own, completely alone-- the last of my tribe! Can that be? Lord, don't forsake me! Bridges burnt, torched them myself, legacy defend, being the last one. Knowing their fate, wish I'd stayed behind-- had not gone to play-- surely it's His way. Wish I could share this life with them though I shalln't again. Bridges burnt, I must carry on. Lord, this is al new ... so I'll follow You. + copyrighted 2001 Sandra S. Corona, art and poem.

Wonderful sketch and the poem does make one think about it and try and imagine oneself in that exiled world... alone, frightened but not able to give up cause faith is too strong.
