Every pretty woman that catches your eyes
you point out to me . . .
as if I can’t see.
Why does it seem your memory fades as you age?
Don’t you remember
that once I was her?
Can’t you see what a fool you’re making of you, me?
A pretty young thing
pops up ev’ry spring.
Every pretty woman has places to go
and people to meet.
She hears each heart beat
but maybe already she’s a mind of her own.
She doesn’t want you . . .
though sometimes I do.
If I could turn back the clock, be young and pretty
how would I see you?
I’d chose someone who
years from now could still see me a pretty woman.
Two aged together
is surely better
than having to weather passing pretty women.
A true compliment
is love’s component.
Look but appreciate the one who is your mate.

"A Touch of the West"
Well made points, we all have a tendency to appreciate beauty whether it is a man checking out a young hotty or a woman checking out a young studmuffin...the idea though is to keep our comments to ourselves.
In this heartfelt romantic memoir, Harry and Elizabeth share their passions and feelings about the poignant events that brought them back together after being divorced and estranged for almost twenty years. Filled with emotion, suspense, and humor --
excellent point of view and I very much like where it goes and where it takes me.

I hope everything is okay with you and Al. I know some men might become silly as they age.
I'm glad my hubby is not that way.
This is a raalitic poem. A lot of men are like that.

Why is as man age, their eyes tend to be on the move. Very good and true poem.
