Artistic poetry (art and poem are mine)
about live and let live--ALL are precious to His sight.

Not Identical

Smoothing out our differences,
folks seek peace despite life’s chaos.
Knew the end from the beginning;
knew without Him … we would be lost.
The gentle words of Jesus
comfort me where’er I go.
Individual acceptance—
we all have attitudes—borne on one cross.
All are brothers and/or sisters.
I’m HERE for you … never mind the cost!
Sheltered by the love of Christ,
I live, thrive, with inner glow.
If we were identical,
how boring! Would we mingle?
Nobody has to strive alone.
None should harbor evil, hatred …
which causes decadence within.
With love … none are ever sated.
Our Savior so loved us
His life was our sacrifice.
We seldom completely agree
but, I respect your opinions.
We may follow different pathways
but still laugh at our reunions.
Jesus dwells deep inside me.
I trust Him and His advice.
If we were identical,
we’d still find cause to ramble.
