Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow

Ev'ry day
I say a little prayer for you
and hope that love will see you through.
Yesterday
has folded its' wings, flown away.
Wouldn't chase it. What a bad day.
Tomorrow
may hold the answers that we seek.
There's no guaranties. No quick peek.
Ev'ry day
we've another reason to live.
Sometimes we take; sometimes we give.
Yesterday
many number many or few.
Some things repeat; others are new.
Tomorrow
may be more or less the same thing--
summer, fall, winter and spring.
Ev'ry day
can be wasted or put to use.
Do anything! Turn yourself loose.
Yesterday
we were all but little children--
anxiously learning, having fun.
Tomorrow
some may be ashes in the wind,
some will have no memories, friends.
Leave your mark
today, yesterday and tomorrow . . .
our time is 'on loan', borrowed.
Ev'ry day
will you say a prayer for me too?
If you find heaven . . . pull me through.

 Reviews of "Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow"

A great run on the time that we have here on earth. I certainly know you are going to Heaven, just by the writes and expressions you have. You are a true christian person, but I surely will pray for you anyway, for good health, for nice days and to take the pain away wen you have it come to you. I love your writes and consider you another of my good friends on the den. God Bless You Always

Gilded Prisons by Linda Gould

Major League ballplayer Justin Moore is kidnapped from his own ballpark and transported to a foreign land. It might take high-level international negotiations to free him. Or maybe he will take matters into his own hands.
