Joy is like jam . . . you spread it around--
enjoy it and devour without sound--
moan when it slides off, falls on the ground.
The bread of life is whate’er you choose
(you can be influenced by the news).
It comes in a multitude of hues.
You hunger for the joy of living
sometimes without pause for thanksgiving
but God makes it free . . . it’s for giving.
Lap it up and let it roam inside--
such a delicious, fruitful, rip-tide--
once we’re filled with joyous jam . . . can’t hide!
Jump for it, cling to it and share joy!
Every woman or man, girl or boy
can have this joyous feeling, enjoy!
You choose the bread, God gives the jam free
and the chaser is eternity
where we spread our joy infinity.
