Colored the world
With a swish . . . made the ocean and sky blue
Took a straight edge, cut the waters in two
Swirled in several tones and changed their hue
You should have seen
The earth black and white, without any green
Trees standing on edge . . . ferocious and mean
Became dazzling, serene when evergreen
Flowers were born
Lacking in orange, pink, yellow and red
Despite their blossoms, their array looked dead
Fantasies weep in a black and white bed
Flattened the earth
Once colored, rolled it into a circle
To hang . . . universal galaxy twirl
With an axle to roll at an angle
A spinning top
Discovered new shades of color . . . non-stop
Air-brushed the forest to make all eyes pop
Sprinkled the stars, a moon, a sun o’er top
Colored the world
