A hammock, a porch swing, what can be more relaxing on a hot, simmering night?

Laying on the porch swing
(it's way too hot inside)
lids heavy as I glide,
I close my eyes.
Lights off please.
Scrawny breeze ambles, wings,
trickles, tickles, my side
giggling I try to hide
then close my eyes.
Lights off please.
Turn off the lights on the road.
I'm restless, have borne heavy loads.
Neither traffic, thunder, shouts
will wake me; just lights on the road.
Swaying on the front porch
waiting for sleep's slide, ride,
finally I'm comfy.
I close my eyes.
Lights off please.
Every light beams like a torch
and screeches through my lids
screaming 'wake-up' of course.
Let the lights all flee, I bid.
My eyes flutter;
lights off please.
Turn off lights bathing the street
there's no work now to be done.
With lights on, sheep too are beat,
can't count them with lights on the street.
I am so tired.
