Mental illness causes folks to do the strangest things.
Portly, with fleshy folds,
he's seeking attention,
trying to catch someone's eye.
Flashes as cars zoom by.
Pasty, naked flesh rolls,
(not fluid retention) . . .
he, his wife, live nearby.
On the yellow line, sighs,
opens his overcoat
(one knows his intention).
His wife thinks it's funny
(her in-laws pay money).
In the intersection,
revealing affliction . . .
not caring if he dies.
He is sometimes despised.
It's his hobby to flash--
dishonored convention?
Perhaps if he were cute,
or wore a cool zoot suit,
he would get more attention.
But when folks see this guy
they are more apt to laugh,
his rage, contention, . . .
leads to the ward . . . again.

Yes Sandie, these are sad people. This is the only way they know to get attention. Bill

a heartbreaking write...well done
(((HUGS))) and love,
karla. :(
do you think all flashers flash because they're mentally ill, or is it because they get a sick "thrill" of exposing themselves?
