Fungi Rules

In a chaotic world even the days are unstable!

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Fungi!
(Friday's on vacation!)
Saturday packed and left
on the doctors orders.
Hear she's already crossed
over Mexican borders.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Fungi!
(His leave is extended.)
Saturday packed and left
on the doctors orders.
Hear she's already crossed
over Mexican borders.
Sunday's trailing behind,
with Saturday in mind.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Fungi!
(Friday's taking more time.)
Saturday packed and left
on the doctors orders.
Hear she's already crossed
over Mexican borders.
Sunday's trailing behind,
with Saturday in mind.
Monday couldn't stand straight--
anxious for a hot date--
so she hopped on a train,
now reposes in Maine.
Wednesday, Thursday, Fungi!
(His itch, rash, is spreading.)
Saturday packed and left
on the doctors orders.
Hear she's already crossed
over Mexican borders.
Sunday's trailing behind,
with Saturday in mind.
Monday couldn't stand straight--
anxious for a hot date--
so she hopped on a train,
now reposes in Maine.
Tuesday rolled up, wilted,
feeling poorly, jilted.
Thursday, Fungi!
(Friday's on 'Most Wanted'.)
Saturday packed and left
on the doctors orders.
Hear she's already crossed
over Mexican borders.
Sunday's trailing behind,
with Saturday in mind.
Monday couldn't stand straight--
anxious for a hot date--
so she hopped on a train,
now reposes in Maine.
Tuesday rolled up, wilted,
feeling poorly, jilted.
Wednesday just socialized--
was so much left to do.
All the others fled, lied,
so Wednesday was quite blue.
Fungi!
(Friday is behind bars.)
Saturday packed and left
on the doctors orders.
Hear she's already crossed
over Mexican borders.
Sunday's trailing behind,
with Saturday in mind.
Monday couldn't stand straight--
anxious for a hot date--
so she hopped on a train,
now reposes in Maine.
Tuesday rolled up, wilted,
feeling poorly, jilted.
Wednesday just socialized--
was so much left to do.
All the others fled, lied,
so Wednesday was quite blue.
Thursday was so lonely
she didn't mind Fungi.
Fungi fell over and died
though only Thursday cried,
(then skipped town with Friday).

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
