How grows the rose? Is it plucked when a bud or allow to grow, age? Is it staked and guided or left to flounder on its’ own? How grows the rose? Does it bow with the wind or stand stately and tall? Is its’ color radiant or ragged, blighted and pale? The Master watches tearfully but the gardener is long gone. Who tends to the rose keeps it nurtured and safe? Who flicks aphids away? If its’ grossly neglected, never paid any mind, how will grow the rose?
