Yesterday ... Crawled

Yesterday crawled, crept, from under a stone
forcefully clawed in--which I don’t condone
yesterday came wasted but had a turn
there are rewards, time-outs, that we each earn
everything on earth dreams--each has a yearn
yesterday--craving more time--had a plan
a revolution . . . to dawn once again
but his surreal dream changes what should be
to relive the past can bring misery
why is yesterday blind . . . why can’t he see?
let tomorrow rise bright with inner glow
yesterday’s a memory --- let it go
a new beginning tomorrow I pray
with no plans to resurrect a ‘spent’ day

yesterday has been
give it no more spin

yesterday please go
old tears can't still flow
in my sorrows drown

yesterday
-- creep softly away!

..after having read your blog re your life..I sit here head bent in repentance ..I dare complain about my life?..I dare shake my hand in anger toward heaven?..Thankyou Sandy for opening my eyes..for knocking on the door of a heart just about to give up...I am forever indebted to you..may light,love and joy envelop your life from now on..may heaven smile upon you and yours..I'm so shaken by your story ..I commend you on your courage strength and perseverance in daily life...thankyou for being you...{{hugs}}}

An excellent write Sandy
so enjoyable

Yesterday is the past gone
tomorrow is the future, not here yet

Today is the now, do what needs to be done
today, let tomorrow wait it's turn.
