A capacity crowd with resurgence remembrance
sat, rather stiffly, no smiles among them in remembrance,
with tears somewhere halted ... just waiting to slide.
Death had already called,
clutched this body he mauled,
black-cloaked, weary ... they squalled.
The time had stopped on life,
when one buried their knife,
though he lived and had fun--
till his life came undone.
He never knew what a church looked like; never bowed to pray.
Now he never would have a chance for he died the other day.
A capacity crowd with resurgence remembrance
sat, some smiling, jubilant in her life, rememberance,
soft laughter rang, exhaulted. She'd be on the other side.
Angels had been, they called,
she opened eyes enthralled,
her pain on earth was stalled.
When time stopped a minute,
she saw light ... went in it.
The matron enjoyed her life,
dedicated, had fun--
her earthly tests she won.
She in earthly services partook and often bowed to pray.
Now the dear Christian is with the Lord in pure light they walk, pray.
