Eileen I understand your skeptism here, as it seems no justice will ever come to those who have ever violated human life as terrorists have!
But then again, only a handful of Nazi's ever got hanged after the Nuremburg trials under the Geneva convention.
SO many lived on and some are even still out there, however this milestone that has happened, paves the way for anyone who has committed a war crime or a crime against humanity, to be detained indefinately, tortured, and executed. Australia's David Hicks is on the hit list already, as are the culprits behind the Bali bombings.. As for those responsible for 911, well they met their end, and the rest, if found will be brought to justice. That is the whole point of this new law being enacted.
My concern is for the innocent minority groups, who by default will suffer, or those framed for things they havent done, and then finally.....fill in the blanks yourselves, for anyone who is up to steam with the prophetic writings of the holy Bible.
I need say no more.
I wrote a poem the other day about the martyrs, the true martyrs, and many commented that it will come around again, this law also paves the way for such attrocities against Gods people. I already know what it is to be tortured, and this I will reveal in my next write...
It will not be for the faint of heart!!

You are right, and I worry about the proverbial..."where will it end"! When civil rights are suspended for any cause it negates a democracy and makes one wonder if the cost is truly worthwhile. Strong message write here Ch'erie

It's just being blown out of all proportion. I wish people would make as much out of what the terrorists are doing, they get by with anything and I never read a word!
