and she worships in a confused way;
you could be in the library
then a tap on the shoulder, it's her,
leading you astray,
pointing this, no, the other way!
She'll take you from A to Z to get to B;
I wonder why she has so much bother
with things elementary?
The maze was her idea,
the minotaur an afterthought;
Don't lose the thread, young student,
or Mary will have you caught.
Sounds like someone known well to both of us, my dear Watson! But, at least not a line-toe-er, eh? Maybe confusion is better than confinement... after all, how are new things ever to be birthed without a lot of pain and mess?!
