We have all met someone special in our lives who has given us "light". I think your poem has captured the essence of love, caring, and guidance. Sometimes we fear the ugliness, or the unexpected things such as encountering trolls. However, as we meet a special person who can guide us, we know that we are safe. It is a beautiful feeling to look into a person's eyes, and know that we have "come home" or that we are comfortable. The strong connections that we have with a special person truly helps us to find our way in the darkness. This is a fantastic poem, and it really touched my heart!

Rabbie would be proud to call this one his own, Ken. It's delightfully "naked" and, as such, exudes its own inner light. The transcendence and "bigger canvas" place it in a different sphere to pure romance and I like the sense of eternal journeying.
