Ah, Kenny...such beautiful imagery and the melding of cultures and nature can be seen in the faces, flora, and fauna...Scissorhands has a lyrical melody off the old-sailor's tongue...may you have many glimmering stars of the night there...stay safe and be well, my friend...and if you traipse through a field of lavender, please think of me...
I remember THAT little lady by the rhododenrons... Eloise, weren't it?? I like the way you have montaged and collaged her, wonderfully fragile, like origami, too. You are obviously tenderly gifted with your hands, Ken. As well as blessed with the softness of sight that can mould all the delicate tones of light and shade. Perhaps you will enjoy the hidden cultural and poetic intimacies that your sojourn in China will afford you... I would wish you Bon Voyage in the appropriate language but... you know, the keyboard can't do the characters!! :)) Text me how long you'll be gone... Enjoy, Calvino and keep me postcarded!! :)) LOL K xx
She was quite capable of taking care of herself...She appreciated everything he was doing for her and the Grandmothers Four, but she needed his help, not for him to take over.
