Thomas laps up beautiful words
like a big saucer of milk
for he lives with the actor
Sir Barnaby McKeller-Rugby.
He listens to Sir Barnaby
read Shakespeare by the fire
and the feline grace and felicitous
phrases are not lost on his ear.
If musical words be cat food
then Thomas is well-fed, indeed!
as any night of the week he can hear
Sheridan, Wilde and Congreve.
