Golden Calf And the number was TEN! Written in stone from Sinai And the calf just grew out of the fire! No one laughed as the mountain shook And the number was TEN! Came down from the judge Hard years of labor against stone Chain link fence and the guns of the guards He hid the GOLD in the trunk Under the mat with the spare tire Drove across the bridge in San Fran Sold it to a man with a black gun in his belt And the number was TEN! The fingers on both his hands ONE in the middle pointed straight up As smoke curled from the end of his black gun And the number was TEN! Men and women in fine suits Wall Street bankers stoned on their gold Friends of oilmen plastering the sea with black And the number was TEN! And the calf just grew out of the fire. © 2010 Dayvid Graybill

All Ten Commandments smashed by the wicked who, by the end, never know they're wicked because the whole rotten, Babylonian matrix is a mirror of rampant criminality, petty jealousies and idol-worship. Great piece!
