Writing very little these days Not very happy about that. Life must be too good. Love. Love is good. But then, The Ex sends a text Parked out front. Can we come in? They say, Poetry ensues out of the friction. Between the water and the riverbank. Sometimes I get washed away in the current. The answer was “yes.” The Ex and her lover, pushing Controllingly pushing me into the water. Grasping for something. Struggling for someone to hold on to. Christine! Dayvid Graybill © 2012

I really like the honestly expressed and the metaphor of being �washed away� by the current.

My first thought was about some automobile in a story by Stephen King.

some ex's can be friends & some can be harmful
I gather this is somewhere in between letting go & hanging on?
that hurts....someone has been pushing me for many years
I finally said enough is enough
the joys in our heart need to be guarded
against negative people & their contaminant junk
they try to push & dump on us

so let's go swimming & make sand angels
