Out of the thick, wet fog.

From deep within the snarling wind,

Between the pounding drops of rain,

Only a small glimpse of the Sun.

From the loud voices in my head,

The world screaming in vain,

News at 6 yelling out fear,

Slivers of silence slither between.

A shaking at The Rock n’ Roll Palace

And the fog machine quits with a THUMP.

The sweet sound of nothing floats by

Sun shines through the window on the stage.

Sometimes, it's better to stop and clear our heads of all the activities going on and just listen to the “sweet sound of nothing.”
