Tear-Stained Murder Dusk sky darkening red Bugle blowing loud and long Soulful Slow and soulful A murder of crows gather Cloak of darkness falling down Over the crowd of cold hearts Small tear Lingers and drops Christening the moment in 4/4 time A child, she walks arms uplifted Through the silence of the crowd The crows They swoop and dive Flapping wings heard, not seen Somber dawn sun rises slowly Crowd of cold hearts beating wild Tear-stained child Stands alone Murder of crows circle waiting. I'm not sure about the true meaning, but I think it refers to all the children of the world that are left neglected and starving to die.

I've often wondered why they call it a "murder" of crows. I'll have to look it up. But I think that it is because they are the first to arrive whenever there is carrion to pick.
