Poem Artwork

The art and science of asking questions is the source of all knowledge~A Berle

WHY

Magical charms and incantations attract the weak of heart

Whispered promises, offered in shadow, end before they start

Fairytales and rainbows, easily confuse

Now you see it, now you don't, follow the trail of clues

~~~~~!~~~~
Thru the maze , and round again, trapped between the lines
Follow chance, to new dead end, left unmarked by sign
Find the prize, beneath the lids, covering your eyes
Raise them high, then gaze direct, and always question....
WHY?
A
I know nuttin' about the Wiccan dust, (is like , you know, that blowing in the wind, song) but I do know talent personified when I read it. You have it and I would be willing to bet you had no Wiccan dust to help you either, just good old living and common sense.
BULLS EYE!! Sparkling and penetrating write, thou All-Seeing One! This is quite dazzling, Anita, and - guess, what??!! Wish I wrote it, but there's no way I could adopt your ease and fluency of rhythm and rhyme - this is quite flawless! Keeping for sure!! Mwah! Kate xx
