GHOST TALES

Oh, Ouija Board,

please bring me spirits.

Spirits of the light

and ones of the damned.

I want to hear their tales

of past lives and woes.

I want to feel

their ghostly presence.

Their dead breath

on my face.

I  feel their cold breath.

Shrieks fill the night.

Icy fingers trail down my face.

They’re at my neck.

Squeezing.

Too tight.

Much too tight…

YEARS AGO, BEFORE I KNEW ANY BETTER, I HAD A OUIJA BOARD. SO GLAD 'HIS' LIGHT CAME AND FILLED ME...MADE ME CONTENT TO WAIT AND DEPEND ON GOD FOR ALL ANSWERS. GOOD SHARING FOR THOSE WHO ENJOY THE THRILL OF TAMPERING WITH THE UNKNOWN...AND WHO, WHEN BLIND, DOESN'T? LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

You must have some masochistic leaning if you like that kind of stuff. I thought Ouija boards were supposed to answer questions? I didn't know that they evoked weird spirits. The only spirits I want are an occasional Bacardi or Jim Beam in my glass of orange juice. And the only breath I want on my face is the sweet warm breath of my love.

you've got a gift for ghosts and the otherworld, susanne.

Don't b scared! Boo! I don't scare much these days but maybe because I just don't care to be bothered by all those ghost. Do they pay taxes? Do they vote? Do they know which bathroom to use? We know so little about these things....Boo Ho LOL

A good poem that sets the atmosphere of a horror movie scene.

Oh, those wretched Ouija Boards! People keep demonizing them. My friends and I played the game so many times when we were young girls, we've only had fun with it. I didn't take anything it said to heart. I know the movie industry always demonized this game. To me, it is just a game. lol

Oooooooh! Susanne, take a cold shower, turn up a whiskey bottle and chulg-a-lug . . . You'll feel so much better afterward.
