They say that time changes things, but you actually
have to change them yourself.~Andy Warhol

~~BORROWED TIME~~

Voiceless whispers, tantalize
Oils flame the fire
Ripened hopes romanticize
Kisses weave attire

Shadows beckon in the glow
Fleshing towards the core
Streams of passion rise and flow
Blended teardrops pour

Nearly there, yet farther than
Yesterday's tomorrow
Now is now, BUT when IS when?
Time is ours......to borrow

Dow

I love the cadence and rhyme of this poem, Anita. You picked your words perfectly, and still the rhyme seems unforced, a testament to your talent. This is excellent! The graphic is great; too, I swiped it for future projects. <grin>
Take care,
Sherry

This poem has the rhythm of a pendulum, in time with its verses. The clock has been wound, the seconds counted down. All the more reason to enjoy every precious thing...now.

Hey! Could use that photo for the poem I just got through writing. This is good, Lady. You teased us with feathery phrases and whisps of gloom. I like it. Do it again.
