Is it a shadow, from the corner of my eye?
That comes and goes, as time passes by?
Relaxed on a bench, at the end of the path
My phantom so tender of smile and laugh
He occasionally rises and walks towards my door
Then vanishes as he comes to the fore
But his voice always lingers.....my spectre remains
As he calls me from shadows.... and whispers..... my name
The part talking about your phantom so tender of smile and laugh....put a chill up my spine. I really twistedly DO so understand this. Wooooh! I liked the tense feel this had....the ending gave me solace as crazy as it may sound. This was very good Anita. I did enjoy myself in these words. Thanks...Teresa
