so very true-i suffered varying degrees of abuse as a child-you stated it well

Written by the red ink of experience. The biggest and darkest ink stain on our lives often spills jet like and fixed from the burst pen of someone close to us. It not only stains, it bloody shrinks and potentially destroys. Totally inappropriate to say I've worn the T-shirt; who wants to pull that over his or her back and put the graphic on show? 'Co - dependence'? This is tragic.

Emotional abuse is scarring and subtle and so often others can't see what is going on and never ever do.

i know the pain all too well, especially the mental and emotional part. a powerful poem that really hit home for me. i am a survivor of abuse, and nobody should be subjected to this hell! :( ((((HUGS))) >tears <

Lady A, your poem is excellent and carries a very important message. Many times the abuser does not even realize that he/she is in such a situation until the damage is already done.

I hope everyone who is in an abusive relationship reads this. The only problem is that the abuser is so good at what he or she does that the victim will not want to believe that they are being abused.
