“Since love grows within you, so beauty grows. For love is the beauty of the soul.” ~St. Augustine~

Poem Artwork

Begotten with a gentle hush, sun dips below the moon
Silent as the feet do prod yon lake I hear the loon
as breath doth billow from mine mouth circular as clouds
Stillness invokes unspoken words how it doth surround

Breathless hush ere close of nigh stars wander held by thee
fruit of spirit rose of lips trace mouth so tenderly
music sweet with holy note, kiss mine eyes to rise
In your garden I shall reap, enraptured loving sighs

Candle lit mine man in bed, town sleeps while song is bred
Perfume dances on the eaves, like autumns breeze hath spread
Gently fall upon mine ears, hear now she’s ever near
Hush my darling, feel mine breath I’m now within your sphere

All words of praise have been said by others before me already, what is left for me to say.
And still they can and do not capture the beauty and depth of this wonderful hymn.
You create a world of serenity and pure love.
Your heart overflows with tender feelings for the man you love so very much

So beautiful Carol, so very very beautiful
Sigh………………………………….
