In this fleeting moment what extravagant respite as booming surf speaks its mystical passage across the undreamed depths...

Poem Artwork

Crimson hues upon the horizon
The great orb dips slowly casting
colors upon whitecapped waves
setting fire in vibrancy everlasting

Rhythmic sounds while lying
upon the golden warm sand
Gulls pirouetting as they glide
in movement with seas granduer

Soothing be the warm crimson orb
leaving now for moons resplendence
Heart warmingly touched with smiles
Marrow of soul beyond transcendence

Vexations whisked away upon cool winds
Embracing another looking toward acquiescence
kindred in sentiment immersed minds
plunging into the realms of our fluorescence

I like this one - it breathes its words like a summer breeze at dusk. Some neat rhyming and flow too.

there is nothing better than an amazing sunset and each as unique as a snowflake, and the one you describe is indeed vibrant.

The idea of calling the setting sun a, “crimson orb,” iis most appealing. It reminds me that my twin brother, spending two months on Key Largo, can see both the rising and setting suns. The thought of it is very romantic at any age.

The slowly dipping sun and the resplendence of the upcoming moon are the framing decoration of these beautiful words, a tender love beyond everyting.

You know how to touch the strings of love and romance Carol

This is splendid! You have described the perfect sunset. The rest from toil. The moon's arrival giving cooling relief and dreams.

Love ya!
