For where there are two, there becomes one in life... ~Lily of Lough Neagh~

Poem Artwork

He hums as we walk ere so closely
our hands with our fingers both laced
a path we both just loved to follow
for time we did naught wish to waste

The air it was crisp, cool and lovely
autumns breath around every bend
colored leaves strewn about in their splendor
with many a more to descend

Out to the fields now art umber
lined with the soldiers of trees
beckons us both to come closer
for wisdom they wish us to see

Pale mist it doth form on horizon
smells of the sweet dewy air
glitters afore us like diamonds
two lovers embracing with care

Remember the leaves of our Autumn
Your aura the loveliest most seen
a color naught touched by dear autumn
our colors most wish they could dream

As I have expressed to you before, this "old style" of writing is not my favourite. However, you have shared the ambiance of the moments and the experience very effectively through your verses. Thank you, Carol. Love and best wishes to you,

I know Autumn is your favorite of the seasons and it is mine also....

Being out in nature does make your soul feel free and the ambience is peaceful as you walk hand in hand...

A very sweetly romantic write of "he" who loves you as you both stroll through nature. Fall is my favorite time of year as well.

Love in all its beauty, surrounded by the impressiveness of the Autumn forest.
Your heart sees things that cannot be seen with the eyes, it’s filled with love and beauty.

Beauty in every verse, Carol, but this one touched me deeply. When it come to writings of the heart you have no peers . . .
