To keep the peace and live a lie?

The Roman blasphemy, I’d rather die.

Was not the Messiah a Hebrew pure?

How much Christianity must He endure?

The Roman Empire was built on His name

Selling splinters from His cross, oh the shame!

They will wail from the pit when the truth is made clear

For the chosen will be those who have ‘ears that can hear’

His ministry was one of servitude and grace

So far removed from Christendom’s face

Yet His sorrow is great for the Christian believers

Turned aside from His purpose by the roman deceivers

He forewarned of the wolf in the guise of a lamb

And the flock that will be slaughtered for the lies of a man

 The time is nigh, His coming is near

Salvation is theirs that have ‘ears that can hear’
