Poem Artwork

Contemplating the flow of life
With my widely open eyes
I've arrived at a profound understanding
Of terms and conditions I find myself in.

Once realized that my mind
Is not my devoted ally to trust,
I find myself beyond any sickness
And so medicine I've been stuffed with.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the last two lines. But I think you may mean the difference between a sound body and a sound mind. Sometimes the two, are intertwined.

I'm a firm believer that clear thinking does not need "mama's little helper" (the pill) to get through each and every day. If we rely on medicines, they may distort greatly our reality.

Don't tell you mind what you have discovered about it because the mind won't like it one bit. Then you will know who are your friends and who your enemies.

Medication soothes the disoriented mind. It gives one certainty of faulty direction. Maintaining a healthy diet is the key to good health and mental ability.
