I’ll Bet Wally got a Good One -
Because he was a Good Guy!
“Pushin’ Up Daisies!”
That’s what my Dad called it,
When a person went to meet his Maker!
Maybe Dad n’ Wally are Playin’ a Game of ‘Horses’ (Chess)?
“Hollins - Yer DEAD!” “I Shot you Six Times -
Wif my Six-Shooter!”
That’s what Wally complained When -
We played Cowboys n’ Indians!
“Nah - you Missed me!”
was my Standard Response.
I was always the ‘Good Guy’ wif the White Hat -
Poor Wally was always the Antagonist!
Is There a ‘Hereafter’?
Cradle to the Grave ... Birth - Life - Death ...
“Is That All There Is?”
Is There a Heaven?
The Norsemen called it - ‘Valhalla” -
The Ancient Greeks called it - ‘Elysium’ -
In Buddhism, it is ‘Samsara’, and depends on Karma.
In Chinese Confucian Tradition it is Tian.
When playin’ ‘Soldiers’ -
Both WWII and Civil War - The Blue n’ The Grey
Wally was always ‘The Rebel’ ... Naturally!

‘Marom’ - ‘High Places’ - ‘Galgal’ literally a ‘Wheel.’
‘Zion’ as well as ‘The New Jerusalem.’
Islam uses the Term ‘ Jannah.’
But they define Several Layers -
The Highest is ‘Firdaus’ for ‘Paradise’
Literally, ‘Seventh Heaven.’
Wally - He was always One Competitive SOB!
He wanted to Beat me at Anything, n’ Everything!
Although two years older, I was a ‘Shrimp’ -
But somehow excelled - just another ‘Hard-Head?’
Finally, as Adults - He Made It!
He Kicked my Arse at Everything -
Eight-Ball - Darts - Shuffle-Bowling - Shuffleboard - Poker -
Even Beer-Drinkin’ n ‘Slot Machines!’
But - just about a Year ago -
When we played 8-Ball - I was the Victor! WHY?
‘Cause I had been playin’ ‘Bush League’
For almost 10 Years - 2-3 Times every Week!
Christian Concepts are Many:
‘Afterlife’ - ‘Kingdom of Heaven’ -
‘Eternal Life’ - ‘Kingdom of God’ -
‘Paradise’ - ‘Eden’ - ‘Place of Great Joy.’
This Past November, when Pat n’ I Visited -
Wally n’ I got a little ‘Quality Time’ Together -
To me, Wally was like my ‘John Wayne’ -
A STOIC ‘TOUGH GUY’ WHO DIDN’T TAKE NO ‘SHIT’ FROM NOBODY!
The American Indians called Heaven -
“The Happy Hunting Grounds”.
Where Is Wally?
In a Much Better Place ... No More Pain!
WHERE IS WALLY?
Up There in Heaven - Shufflin’ the Deck -
Chillin’ the Beer - Waitin’ to Kick my Arse ... Again!
And ... Savin’ a Spot at the Table for Me!
