The first two lines have been renting space im my head for the past few days.I decided to stream-of-consciousness it, and look what happened!!!

YOU NEVER KNOW

It’s all fiction, he said.

But then he admitted

”Well, maybe it’s factual”

With a careless shrug:

You never know,

It’s a matter of perspective-

WHOSE perspective,

The tellers, or the ones told to?

While Beethoven drones on;

It might as well be hip hop

For all the difference it makes.

Sitting in the half-light,

Waiting for something to happen.

The problem is

That it never happens

For those who wait for it:

Something about a watched pot.

So when does it happen?

Maybe it never happens,

Or maybe it’s happened already.

I opened up my mind

And this creature

Came tumbling out.

Is it real?

You never know.

It doesn't matter to me if its real...what's real is that this is really good writing. Well done.
