Violets

The rugged terrain bore the cotton candy glaze.
So many passed without a clue.
Just beautiful.
But one inquisitive mind never stops.
Not consciously could he perceive the crimson hue,
But he is one to always seek with all the tools of his trade.
Sure enough, each bed holds blood spatter,
A ritual betrayed.
The contents of the tub watered her obsession.
I can only wake relieved
I didn’t let the future happen.

"But he is one to always seek with all the tools of his trade." A trait which can be admired. You have some great lines in this one. Nice job.
