Know
Those with wisdom live in silence-
Knowledge makes no sound
Far removed from any violence-
Feet on solid ground.
Those whose screams would silence shatter
Know not what they do-
All their sounds that do not matter
Failing to be true .
Those who can embrace the wonder,
Harmony and peace-
Great adventures only thunder,
Moments to release.
What of those disposed to drama?
Focusing on fears?
All their mindless noise and trauma
Falling on deaf ears.
Don’t you know that we have choices?
There’s a path to peace.
I can hear their friendly voices,
“Let the madness cease.”

Alot of wisdom in this poem, John. I agree with David, the quiet achievers will win out in the end.

Superbly stated, John. May your words be heard and heeded and may this world sleep in peace at last. Love and best wishes,
