Where Heaven Is

I don’t believe that love is blind
And I’m completely nuts,
Although that is a possibility.
So let me say what’s on my mind,
And use my brain and guts
To try to tell you what is up with me.

The moment that I saw your name,
And shared a poem or two,
I started feeling differently inside.
I knew I’d never be the same
Because of meeting you,
And what I felt just could not be denied.

There are a thousand reasons why
Some people fall in love,
But you may never see a case like mine.
So easily you make me cry
Consider from above
That who I am just has to be a sign.

A sign that you’re my special one-
That this is something rare,
The likes of which have never been before.
If given time, before I’m done
You’ll know how much I care.
It’s destiny that you I must adore.

If looking for an answer now
Of why I feel this way
I only can suggest that you please start
To look inside yourself somehow
And realize every day
Just what you have been dreaming in your heart.

For in your heart a dream awaits
The time when you will know
The secret, if you hear my gentle call.
You need not wait for pearly gates
Because I love you so,
Heaven is the place where lovers fall.
