I want to share this poem of my grandfather's, as it gives a wish better that I can for all of you.
Best wishes.

CHRISTMAS ENCHANTMENT
The Christmas minstrel sings of merriment,
Candles at windows and the scent of pine,
Of cheer and feasting, comfort and content,
Tinsel and wreaths, a roasted fowl and wine,
Of warmth and crackling where the Yule log glows –
But there is more in Christmas than he knows:
A quiet ecstasy, a nameless thrill,
A glimpse beyond experience, a gleam
Of that fulfillment that eludes each dream;
Mysterious enchantment, deep and still...
An exaltation kindred to the light
Seen through cathedral windows, the bouquet
Of Benedictine; kindred to the white,
Slim contour of a lily, and away
O’re starlit snows the echo of a chime –
May these be yours at Christmas and all time!
This truly is a gift John, one you must be extremely proud of and deservedly so!Thank you for sharing, and may your Christmas and New Year be all you desire!
This is extremely nice. Why would he spoil it with an archaism which is totally unnecessary and incorrect as well? ( O're) You can say over there and it won't change anything. It is a lovely poem, nonetheless.
