Nature of the Day

A gentle breeze could be felt,
obstacles that come our way,
living the cards that are dealt.
the nature of every single day.

Complexity encompasses choices,
tests of strength, tests of one’s will,
constantly hearing the inner voices,
a warm embrace or just a cold chill.

Step by step, traveling life’s path,
utilizing both our heart and mind,
fear, the power of destiny’s wrath,
cautiously in the corridors of time.

Mindful moments, sadness and pain,
lost in self indulgence of instant fun,
in desperation we still strive for gain,
success is not measured till we’re done.

In the fast lane beneath the blue sky,
no realization, only one’s self to blame,
wandering alone never wondering why,
people like nature just can’t be tamed.

I'm not sure I'd like it if either man or nature was tamed. And, if it were, I'm sure it would be call Heaven.

Interesting and very philosophical. No people cannot be tames or kept from roaming when the will strikes, enjoyed....

Be safe,

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
