Stone Cold Reality

There's more to a reality check than just being aware...find a solution or hide and beware!

As night blankets the city
they roam silent, unseen
owning filthy streets
conquering happy dreams
nothing is sacred, no one safe
work hard they do, fueled by hate
disdain for societies rules
rewritten by codes they choose

                   ~~~~~
einy meany miney moe
will you be the victim
no one knows...
                   ~~~~~

shadowed whispers, what can we do
who's at fault, no one has a clue
old folks cringe, families flee
juvenile delinquents, take all for free
pointed fingers, hissing blame
stone cold reality, staring in your face
lock them up, throw away folger keys
more are born, continuing family trees

                    ~~~~~
einy meany miney moe
where's our world headed
to our friends or foes...
THIS IS POETRY! IT bled emotions, it smacks REAL--RAW REALITY right in the reader's face. It has this iron hand feel to it almost. I love it! Very real work. I do appreciate that.
Thank You,
Teresa Emilie
Earth-centric Humanity at the Crossroads by Martin Treon
For the reasons I describe in this book, the world-wide suffering, death and extinction of humanity is very likely to occur, unless nonviolent and democratically determined radical and revolutionary personal and societal actions and changes are taken
The New Debtors' Prison by Paul Lonardo
While Debtors prisons no longer exist, many people continue to be persecuted for crimes related to poverty or inability to repay money owed to municipalities. This practice remains in an injustice that needs to be rectified.
