The Universal Day

When I awake in the morning,
I fall into the deep sea of day.
I swim in its eternal waters,
That spring forth a living spray.

The night is pitch blackness,
The forest an emerald green,
The earth a rich brown,
The clouds are pearl grey.

The unchained sky is nothing ,
But a clear sea of porcelain blue.
We call the sky the heavens,
Where ghosts never dare say boo.

The heavens cover the earth’s carpet,
With a grand celestial dome,
Whose breadth and depth comprises,
A universe the Divinity calls home.

We are a part of the universe,
And the universe is a part of us.
We are but atoms in the universe,
The universe simply enlarges us.

We are most truly at home,
When God and His universe lie within.
In the morning when we awake,
The entire universe follows in its wake.
