World in a Drop
By John Herlihy

Some things come in tiny drops,
A little by a little, as the rabbit hops.
The butterfly alights on the buttercup,
Standing on delicate legs the nectar to sup.
Just take a step back and behold, there it was,
A blue waterway of drops running on as it does.
Stars shining liquid crystal invading the night,
Stellar drops quivering as the moon rises alight.
I hoard drops of happiness that may come my way,
Even if wavelets of sorrow drop in, wanting to stay.
Step by step, I travel thru life as destiny may unfold,
Drop by drop, the snow flake beautifies the raw cold.
There’s mystery in a drop; its shadow a veiled light,
I see a star in a drop fallen down in the star-lit night.
Entire worlds exist in a drop, self-contained and true ,
A microcosm reflecting the macrocosm that God knew.
A universe lies in a drop, filled with rainbows of hope,
Life’s river but drops that help us understand and cope.
A single drop fallen can shatter the serenity of a pond,
Stillness awakens to life by the stroke of a mystic wand.

I THANK GOD FOR 'HIS' WAND, JOHN...HIS WORD...THAT HAS SPOKEN THE ENTIRE WORLD, LARGE...AND SMALL AS A 'DROP' OF WATER...INTO EXISTENCE - JUST TO REMIND US HOW MAGNIFICENT HE IS. TO UNDERSTAND THIS IS A WONDERFUL BLESSING. THANK YOU FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Any words used to describe how beautiful this write is would be inadequate, just a drop in the bucket.

Magnificent wordplay on the minuscule wonders which surround us as we go our merrily way. Really enjoyed this one.

A thought provoking exploration of nature's exquisite design and function. I especially liked: A universe lies in a drop, filled with rainbows of hope, Life’s river but drops that help us understand and cope.
A single drop fallen can shatter the serenity of a pond,
Stillness awakens to life by the stroke of a mystic wand.

Omega Factor by John Henning

Take some time to walk outside of your own mind and into another, walk slowly and carefully; the mind that you step on might be your own.
